The safety you feel in childhood, does it ever come back. Does it wrap you the same, feel the same, look the same. Is it forever gone and never coming back. Certainty, does it ever come back. Is anything as sure as things were when you were a child. Does someone care and protect you the way your parents did. Do even they. What happens with the safety they take with themselves when they go. Does it ever again feel like the ground under you is solid and strong. Or does it become brittle, a forever fall. Like one of those traps you build as a kid. Is there still arms to catch you, when you fall. Can you trust that there is arms to catch you. Can you trust your own feet again when you walk. Does the safety ever come back. When it left in such a subtle way that you didn’t see it leaving, you only saw when it was already gone. Does the safety ever come back or will it stay away avoiding you.
