It’s melting like ice cream. I want to keep the stripes even, but as it melts, the colors mix. The feelings, we mix. I can’t keep it even, if you keep taking it out of the freezer. To some, things like warmness are deadly. Like a polar bear will die in a desert, the love will die, when the love is ice cream and the ice cream is left on the table, in the sun. It will melt, it will drip, it will all mix. When the stripes are my sanity. My love and my fears. And I can’t have them being mixed. If they mix, the love will die. My love will die. But I can’t keep the stripes even, if you can’t keep the ice cream in the freezer. A love like ice cream will die out in the sun.
