The things I lost before I met you, I got back. I got them back slowly. You pointed out things that you loved about me, things that I had already forgotten about. Not really forgotten but I had hid them under rocks and sewed them into my pillowcases. I had taken them out of my sight, thinking they are no longer mine. I had denied those things I love telling myself those are not mine anymore, until you came along and loved those very things. And slowly I came back to myself. Found my little joys again. Became me again. You loved those things back into me.
