If I turn away to see other things, feel other things. It’s because I want to try the new, to feel something else than what i’m used to. There’s more things than what’s in the past. The past is gone and I’m ready for the future. Letting go is more about the feeling of being ready for the new than how much you valued the old. Sometimes we have to let go of dear things, not because they don’t matter but because we need the new. And those things are already the past. We need the future more than the past. Because we can’t build with things from the past, a structure like that wont last.
